Community Supply Drive – Purchase items from the Approved Hurricane Relief Supply List below and drop them off at a designated supply collection location.
Gift Cards – Purchase gift cards from the stores listed on the Approved Hurricane Relief Supply List below and take them to Grace Fellowship Church.
Monetary Donations - Monetary donations are greatly needed to help cover freight and additional supply needs once the volunteer team arrives in Texas. Cash or check donations can be dropped off at Grace Fellowship Church. Cash should be in an envelope marked “Hurricane Relief Fund” and donor information and address should be provided for tax letters. Checks should be made payable to Grace Fellowship Church with "Hurricane Relief Fund" in the memo section. Grace Fellowship Church will mail tax donation letters to donors and insure the integrity of all donations by forwarding 100% of all monies collected to hurricane relief efforts. Please contact Grace Fellowship Church if you would like to make a credit card donation.
Volunteers – Needed to help make phone calls, run errands, organize volunteers and assist with supply drive coordination. Volunteers also needed on September 23rd to work the pancake breakfast fundraiser and to assist with the supply collection, sorting, organizing, packing and shipping preparations. Community service hours are available.

Supply sorting, organizing, packing and palletizing for shipping preparation
Sept 27th – Oct 3rd: Volunteer Team travels to Dickinson, TX
Mokena volunteers will distribute supplies, provide meals and assist with resident clean-up and rebuilding efforts.
October & November 2017: Volunteer teams are being assembled for tentative trips to Texas and Florida.

Approved Hurricane Relief Supply List
-Toiletries & Personal Hygiene Products:
(regular and/or travel size only – no bulk sizes please)
Shampoo/Conditioner, Soap (bars only), toothpaste/toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine products, Q-tips, razors, shaving cream, baby wipes/wet wipes, hand lotion, hand sanitizer, toilet paper Insect Repellent – Badly needed!
-First Aid Supplies : Band-Aids (all sizes), ace bandages, triple antibiotic, cortisone/anti-itch cream, gauze, first aid tape, finger splints, alcohol/peroxide, cotton swabs
-Building Supplies: Work gloves, duct tape, electrical tape, scissors, utility knives, nails and screws, basic hand tools (hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, small saw, etc. – no power tools), extension cords, packing tape and dispensers, Sharpies/large black permanent markers
-Disinfectant and Cleaning Supplies: Bleach/disinfectant, Clorox/disinfectant wipes, empty spray bottles, scrub brushes/cleaning rags, latex/rubber gloves, garbage bags, paper towels
-Meal Care Supplies:
Plastic utensils (forks, knives, spoons), brown lunch bags, zip-lock bags (sandwich and gallon), napkins, individual snacks (cookies, crackers, chips, fruit snacks, applesauce, etc.)
-Gift Cards: (gift cards can ONLY be dropped off at Grace Fellowship Church)

Grace Fellowship Church and the Mokena community are coming together in an effort to provide supplies and relief to residents in Dickinson, TX, one of the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Harvey. Supplies and assistance may also be directed to Florida for Hurricane Irma relief efforts if resources are sufficient.
