It is great to be part of a family, team, or community! It is equally valuable, for Christians to be a part of a fellowship of believers who are like-minded and who encourage, support, pray with & for, celebrate & mourn with, serve with, worship alongside, and pursue Jesus with one another. It is powerful, THIS CHURCH becomes MY CHURCH. Membership strengthens individuals, and it strengthens the body.
Grace Fellowship Church invites all who are interested in learning more about membership to participate in one of our 4-Sunday seminars that run according to the following schedule:
All who are interested in becoming members of Grace Fellowship Church should attend the first of eight membership classes on Sunday, October 1, at 9 a.m. Each gathering will take place on consecutive Sundays (Oct. 1 - Nov. 19) from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. in the Youth Room in the basement. See Pastor Rick if you have questions.
We do not believe that parents can administer or perform any ritual that would “save” their children from the consequence of sin (Rom. 3:23 & 6:23); therefore, we do not baptize children. Scripture provides many instructions to be baptized, and each one is preceded by the instruction to repent. Since babies lack the cognitive ability to repent, we do not baptize individuals until they are developmentally and spiritually mature enough to understand their need for Christ as Savior.
Instead, we provide a platform for parents to dedicate their children to God. It is both beautiful and powerful to see parents give thanks for their precious children, acknowledge that their children belong to God, and promise to teach their children to love and obey God (Prov. 22:6) while the rest of the church partners with the family by supporting and praying for them.
